CELEBRATING THE WOMEN OF ST. JOHN

Decades before female founders were labeled as such, Marie Gray launched St. John at a time when few women were in such esteemed positions. Since 1962, our company has continued to elevate and celebrate the amazing ladies at the core of our brand. Today we take the opportunity to spotlight some of St. John’s most prized talent, some of whom have been with the company for decades. These women begin with ideas and produce the highest quality, impeccably crafted, eternally coveted pieces that will become the wardrobes you live in throughout your lifetime. We are pleased to introduce you to our team.

“Patternmaking is turning an idea into reality, where creativity meets technicality. It’s fast-paced, constantly changing work. A deep love for fashion and craft keeps the work exciting, while problem-solving skills are essential for success.”
- Francine Dao, Lead Patternmaker

THE WOMEN OF ST. JOHN

Teresa Silva has spent her professional career as Quality Control Supervisor at St. John. This is an incredibly important role, as Teresa is the first to address any challenges with the production of our Collections and the final stamp of approval before we send our designs your way. An intimate knowledge and respect for each contributor and facet of fashion is imperative in ensuring we only release the very best. Teresa credits dedication and patience to her success and is proud to work with a company who designs for women of all ages, shapes, and sizes.
